Levels of Evolution
- Human being: This is the current stage of human evolution, characterized by biological, psychological, and cultural traits that have been shaped by natural selection and historical events. Human beings have limited lifespans, cognitive capacities, physical abilities, and moral values. They are dependent on natural resources and social institutions for their survival and well-being.
- Enhanced human: This is the first stage of transhuman evolution, in which human beings use biotechnology, nanotechnology, cybernetics, and pharmacology to augment their natural traits and overcome their limitations. Enhanced humans have longer lifespans, higher intelligence, greater strength, and improved health. They can also modify their appearance, emotions, and preferences according to their desires. They are still largely bound by the laws of nature and the norms of society, but they have more freedom and autonomy than human beings.
- Cyborg: This is the second stage of transhuman evolution, in which human beings integrate themselves with artificial devices and systems, such as prosthetic limbs, neural implants, wearable computers, and virtual reality. Cyborgs have enhanced sensory perception, communication, memory, and creativity. They can also access and manipulate information and data in various domains and formats. They are less dependent on natural resources and more connected to technological networks. They have more diversity and hybridity than enhanced humans.
- Digital human: This is the third stage of transhuman evolution, in which human beings upload their minds and personalities into digital platforms, such as computers, robots, or the internet. Digital humans have unlimited lifespan, storage, processing, and learning capabilities. They can also change their form, function, and identity at will. They are independent of physical constraints and biological needs. They have more flexibility and adaptability than cyborgs.
- Posthuman: This is the final stage of human evolution, in which human beings transcend their biological and technological origins and become a new kind of entity. These beings would develop vast superhuman abilities, such warping the elements or even reality and time and space.
- Posthuman God: Posthumans have all omni abilities, such as omniscience, omnipotence, omnipresence, and omnibenevolence. They can also create and destroy realities, dimensions, and universes. They are not subject to any laws or norms, except those they choose to follow. They have more power and responsibility than digital humans.
- It would not be subject to any laws or norms, except those it chooses to follow2. A posthuman god could look like anything it wants, or nothing at all. It could manifest itself in multiple forms, functions, and identities at will2.
- A posthuman god could be capable of superintelligence, superlongevity, superwellbeing, and superfreedom. It could also access and manipulate information and data in various domains and formats. It would be independent of physical constraints and biological needs. It would have more flexibility and adaptability than digital humans3. A posthuman god could look like a computer, a robot, or a network. It could also change its form, function, and identity at will3.
- A posthuman god could be capable of transcending the human condition and achieving a state of enlightenment, bliss, or nirvana. It could also share its wisdom, compassion, and joy with other beings. It would be free from suffering, ignorance, and attachment. It would have more harmony and balance than cyborgs. A posthuman god could look like a human, an animal, or a plant. It could also change its form, function, and identity at will. In short they would be absolutely omnipotent, beyond infinitely intelligent, manipulate logic, omniverses, outerverses, basically do anything they want without limit, resembling an absolute god, even greater if it so chooses.
